Our Purpose:
Grace Lutheran Preschool is part of the Christian education and outreach of
Grace Lutheran Church. We believe that parents are charged by God with the
spiritual well-being of their children. Grace Lutheran Preschool seeks to
provide a program of Christian care and instruction in support of the
parental calling.
Programs:
Our half-day program promotes the social, intellectual, physical and spiritual growth of children through creative play, "hands-on" center-oriented classrooms and age appropriate curriculum. Biblical teaching and bi-weekly chapel are a vital part of our program.
Schedule:
Pre-K class -- Monday thru Friday 9:00-11:30
4 year olds -- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00-11:30
3 Year olds -- Tuesday and Thursday 9:00-11:30
Registration & Tuition:
A 40.00 registration fee is required for each child entering the 2 day program and a $45.00 registration fee for each child entering the 3 and 5 day program. This fee ensures your child's place in a class and is also used towards supplies.
Monthly Tuition:
5 days (Pre-K) $120.00
3 days (4 years olds) $100.00
2 days (3 year olds) $80.00
Staff Bio:
Chris Wittkopp Director / Pre-K teacher
Chris has a BS in Education and Early Childhood Education from Penn State University. Chris started teaching at Grace Lutheran Preschool in 1997 when the preschool opened. She taught the first class with three 4 year olds and five 3 year olds.
Amy O'Brien / 3 & 4 yr. old Teacher
Amy has a Bachelor's in Fine and Applied Arts in Child and Family Development with a Minor in Sociology. Amy has been teaching off and on for 13 years from Preschool to 2nd Grade. This is her 2nd Year teaching at Grace Lutheran Preschool.

Worship Schedule
Sundays:
Sunday School and Adult Bible Study:

Prayer Meeting: Sunday, May 10th. following the morning Service.
Ascension Eve Service: Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00p.m.
Pentecost Service: Sunday, May 31st at 10:30a.m.
Sunday morning (9:15 a.m.) Bible Study and coffee: We gather a bit earlier with mugs in hand (coffee provided). Greeting each other in the Lord, we dig into the theology of the assigned Readings for the morning’s Service and associated Scripture texts. This is an excellent preparation for being “doers” and “hearers” of the Word in the Divine Service about to be celebrated.
Wednesday evening(7:00 p.m.) Conversation and Inquiry; Christian belief & practice: We refresh our faith delving deeply into the reasons Christians (Lutherans) believe and do what they do. This is an excellent opportunity to invite and bring along a friend or family member who have questions about the Christian faith and the church’s worship, as well as differences existing in broader “Christendom” or even among the congregations of our Synod.
Thursday afternoon (5:00 p.m.) Christian Education Class: A walk through Luther’s catechism for those seeking reception into Grace’s fellowship and communion. Employing the six chief parts of the Small Catechism we delve deeply into the central Christian doctrine of justification by grace alone through faith alone in order to apprehend the answer to the questions, “What is the gospel?” and “What does this mean?”
